Bella is known to a lot of people in Upper Brampton and even considers herself an honorary Parish Councillor and often attends meetings. She is always out greeting passers-by. She was a rescue cat who came to the village in 2001 - we don't really know her age but it's thought to be 9 or 10 years. She is always outside preferring it to the indoors in most weathers and has become a real character amongst the villages not inconsiderable feline population. One word of warning - she is also known for her mood swings and can lash out particularly if cornered or picked up by somebody she doesn't know and trust.

an absolutely superb and informative
website,Darren(London)
Hello to all thank you for a wonderful site. It brought back great childhood memories of visiting my Grandparents in Brampton. What was a lovely surprise was seeing a picture of my Auntie Bubbles aged 10. I was only speaking to her a couple of weeks ago. I am doing family research on the Mack family, wish I had started it years ago before I moved to the states were I now live. I will be coming back to the site often to keep up with village life.
